The invention describes a window module (1) for the thermal regulation of a building. The window module (1) according to the invention comprises an outer glazing (2) and an inner glazing (3), wherein between the outer glazing (2) and the inner glazing (3) a sealed relative to solids, in particular dust, space (4) is formed. Furthermore, an air-liquid heat exchanger (5) is included. The window module (1) according to the invention is characterized in that the air-liquid heat exchanger (5) comprises at least one duct (6; 6-1, 6-2) through which air can flow, in which a cooling / heating element (7 ) is arranged with a fluid line (8), wherein in the fluid line (8) a heat transport medium (9) is guided. At least one fan (10) is arranged in the intermediate space (4) leading air from the intermediate space (4) into the at least one channel (6; 6-1, 6-2) and back into the intermediate space (4) in the channel (6; 6-1, 6-2) exchanging heat between the air and the heat transport medium (9). Further, in the intermediate space (4) an adjustable sun protection device (11) is arranged, which consists of a radiation-absorbing and radiation-reflecting material and is adjustable so that the degree of overlap with the window light is adjustable.
