A digitally controlled three-dimensional robotic device for additive or subtractive shaping applications on a large object (4). This system comprises: • Mobile carrying equipment (1) capable of maneuvering and positioning a robotic system and its accessories in three dimensions. • A robotic system (2) supported by the first equipment, capable of being controlled by a numerical control and carrying at its end a forming tool that can position and orient in space. • A position measuring equipment (3) able to record the coordinates and the orientation of the rigid joint between the first and second equipment with respect to the object to be shaped. • A control equipment (5), equipped with a memory in which a forming program is defined, able to receive information from the measuring equipment (3), able to calculate and transmit an execution command to the robotic equipment (2).
