PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device having high accuracy and capable of stable measurement. SOLUTION: This measuring device has an irradiation unit that irradiates an object with light, an imaging unit that images an object irradiated with light, and a measuring unit that measures an object based on information captured by the imaging unit. It also has a position control unit that changes and controls the relative positional relationship between the object, the irradiation unit, and the imaging unit when the information captured by the imaging unit satisfies a predetermined condition.
