This control module (22) for desaturation of the inertia wheels of an attitude control device (20) comprising an actuation module able to apply pairs to a spacecraft (10) to modify its orientation, is characterized in that it is suitable for: - for each preceding passage, to estimate the gyroscopic torque the spacecraft (10) on the two orthogonal axes (XSat, ZSat), and to estimate the disturbing torques applying to the spacecraft (10) on both orthogonal axes (XSat, ZSat); for each current passage, to determine a first and a second setpoint as a function of the estimated gyroscopic torque and disturbing torques, and to apply the first and second setpoints to the actuator system to desaturate at least some of the flywheels when the spacecraft (10) is in an authorized desaturation portion.
