An object of the present invention is to increase the strength of a cam pin without enlarging a connector. Cam pins of a second connector housing 40 are inserted into cam grooves 63 of a lever 60 and, in that state, the lever 60 is rotated, whereby the cam pins slide along groove surfaces of the cam grooves 63 to effect cam action and an operation of first and second connector housings 20, 40 proceeds. Parts of the cam pins to be inserted into the cam grooves 63 are long in an extending direction of the cam grooves 63 and short in a groove width direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the cam grooves 63.
