The device (1) has a contact-sensitive control element (10) operated by contact though a user. A proximity switch (11) is switched on the contact-sensitive control element during the approximation of the user to the contact-sensitive control element. A control unit (12) controls a multi color light source i.e. contactless-sensitive organic LED, with a predetermined number of colors and lightness. The contact-sensitive control element selects a color and light intensity from the predetermined number of the colors and light intensity depending on the contact though the user.
