PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper removal electrolytic apparatus of high current efficiency, and a copper removal electrolysis method.SOLUTION: There is provided a copper removal electrolytic apparatus 1 comprising an electrolytic tank 20 that is supplied with an aqueous solution comprising copper and precipitates copper powder by electroextraction, a repulping tank 30 for repulping copper powder in a wet state discharged from the electrolytic tank 20, a solid-liquid separator 40 for carrying out solid-liquid separation of the slurry discharged from the repulping tank 30 by a bach process, and a return flow passage for supplying the electrolytic tank 20 with the filtrate discharged from the solid-liquid separator 40. An agitator 31 of the repulping tank is run for a predetermined period to maintain the slurry present in the repulping tank 30 in an agitated state at least during a period in which the slurry is being sent to the solid-liquid separator 40 from the repulping tank 30, and is stopped during other periods.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
