PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn protection mat that compensates the contraction or expansion of a constructed mat if they happens, effectively prevents ground excitation and shortening defects of a plurality of mats tightly adhered after construction of the mats, and solves the problem that the space of photosynthesis becomes narrow due to narrowing passage space of lawn by the presence of an outer frame portion, while removing all or prat of the outer frame portion positioned between adjacent unit mats to facilitate production and reduce the unit price; and to provide a construction method thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a lawn protection mat and is characterized by comprising a plurality of body part in which the passage space of lawn is formed; and a contraction and expansion compensatory connecting means which connects between the plurality of body parts in order to compensate the contraction and expansion of the unit mat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
