Effectiveness of acoustic scares in lawns as protection against mole (Talpa europaea L.).

The efficacy of electro-acoustic scares Anty-Mysior Plus (which emitted a strong (60 dB) constant acoustic signal) and Anty-Mysior (which emitted a standard (40 dB) constant signal) against T. europaea in lawns was evaluated. Anty-Mysior Plus and Anty-Mysior reduced the number of mole hills in plots by 64.22 and 54.40%, respectively, over the control.
