In an experiment conducted in Poland, the electro-acoustic scare system Anty-Mysior, which emitted acoustic signal with constant (4.0 kHz) or changeable (4.4-50.0 kHz) frequency of sound, was effective in the protection of lawns against mole (T. europaea). This system significantly reduced the mean number of active mole hills in protected plots. The reduction in active mole hills ranged from 43.81 to 30.50%..
