PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cancer cell catching method that can catch many cancer cells including cancer cells not expressing EpCAM.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for catching cancer cells in a body fluid. In the method, a sampled body fluid is reduced in protein concentration and then, a hydrophilic polymer layer is made to catch cancer cells.SELECTED DRAWING: None
