PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building space partition structure and a balcony handrail structure with good design appearance.SOLUTION: There are provided at least two handrail support posts 48 spaced apart from each other at a boundary partitioning an inner space SI and an outer space SO, and a face panel 47 as a plurality of cross rails that are mounted to the handrail support post 48 in parallel with each other and spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction. The face panel 47 as cross rails has a plate portion 47a extending in the lateral direction, an upper hollow projecting edge portion 47b provided on the back surface along the upper edge of the plate portion 47a up to both ends in the longitudinal direction, and a lower hollow projecting edge portion 47c provided on the back surface along the lower edge of the plate portion 47a up to both ends in the longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3C
