HANDWRITTEN CONTENT EDITING DEVICE AND HANDWRITTEN CONTENT EDITING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handwritten content editing device for partitioning a horizontal column and a vertical row with a high accuracy and capable of accurately partitioning the handwritten characters and the method thereof.SOLUTION: A handwritten content editing device includes: a step in which the handwritten content composed of strokes is inputted; a step in which the trajectory of the stroke is acquired by sampling the stroke, and the handwritten content is partitioned into a text column or a text row by detecting a direction of the handwritten content; a step in which the handwritten content is displayed; and a step in which the stroke and the partition result are stored in the order of the strokes. When the strokes of the new column and row are inputted, the center of all strokes of the preceding columns/rows and the deviation of a X coordinate and the deviation of a Y coordinate relating to all strokes of the columns/rows are specified. When the deviation of the X coordinate is larger than the deviation of the Y coordinate, the last column/row is specified as a text column, and if not, the handwritten content is partitioned as the text column or the row column by the processing for specifying the last column/row as the text column.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
