HALF BRIDGE CIRCUIT AND DIMMING CONTROL METHOD OF INDUCTION LAMP USING DIMMING BALLAST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimming ballast using a method and a half bridge circuit for controlling dimming of an induction lamp in order to solve a problem in which there is a risk of damaging the circuit due to repetition of on/off and it is difficult to stably perform the dimming control in a burst on/off method which is a known dimming control method.;SOLUTION: A frequency/pulse width control half bridge drive unit controlled by a control device controls a half bridge circuit to operate in a high section and a low section, but the resonance is maintained at a low output while the frequency is high in the low section such that the induction lamp becomes in the off state, the duty ratio of the high side transistor is low, and the duty ratio of the low side transistor is high.
