PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle detection technique suitable for a machine for mine work.SOLUTION: A machine for mine work comprises: a high power radar device; a low power radar device; and an obstacle detection device for determining whether or not there is an obstacle using detection results from the high power radar device and detection results from the low power radar device. The high power radar device and the low power radar device are mounted on the machine for mine work so that a detection area 121d of the high power radar device and a detection area 122a of the low power radar device are overlapped. The obstacle detection device determines the kind of obstacles at the position where a detection area 121b of the high power radar device and a detection area of the low power radar device are overlapped using both the detection results of the high power radar device and the detection results of the low power radar device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
