PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an optimum assist ratio of steering and thereby improve the steering feeling of a driver.;SOLUTION: An assist ratio computation device 100 according to the present invention comprises: a biological information acquisition unit 122 for acquiring, for each of a plurality of assist ratios of steering that are set in an electric power steering system 600, biological information associated with steering in accordance with a plurality of driving states; an assist ratio computation unit 124 for computing, in the plurality of driving states, an assist ratio by which the discrete degree of the biological information decreases; and an assist ratio determination unit 127 for determining an assist ratio of steering used in the power steering system on the basis of the assist ratio computed in the plurality of driving states.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
