PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which provides an SiO-based material in a solid phase and a composite material of an SiO-based material and a carbon material at ordinary temperature and pressure by a simple method.SOLUTION: A production method of an SiO-based material and a composite material of an SiO-based material and a carbon material comprises mixing an SiO-containing fine powder of particle sizes of 20 nm to 100 μm, such as amorphous silica, crystalline silica, quartz, sand, quartz sand, silica, rock powder (shirasu, Kokaseki(a kind of liparite), etc.), feldspar, wollastonite, silicic acid and silicates, with a polymer of particle sizes of 100 nm to 50 μm, such as polyolefin, cellulose, acrylic and thermoplastic polyester type polymers and crushing.
