An improved vacuum actuated valve assembly and sealing mechanism is provided for improved low atmospheric flow stability, characterized by spikes in delivery pressure and lack of flow deviation. The valve assembly includes a thermoplastic non-fixed pedestal and a cone. The cone is characterized by an upper portion having a circular perimeter designed to mechanically engage and disengage with the inner sealing surface of the thermoplastic pedestal.
