PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable time synchronization.SOLUTION: A station side optical line termination device comprises: a conversion unit for converting information included in a first control message used in time synchronization into information enabling evaluation of frequency synchronization on the basis of a second control message used in frequency synchronization; and a communication unit for transmitting the first control message including the converted information and the second control message to a subscriber side optical line termination device belonging to the station side optical line termination device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
