NICKEL FINE POWDER, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF NICKEL FINE POWDER, NICKEL POWDER ORGANIC SLURRY AND NICKEL PASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel fine powder having no aggregation, sharp particle size distribution, good in heat shrinkage resistance, excellent in dispersibility and viscosity stability with time when pasted and capable of being suitably used as a material for an internal electrode of a laminate ceramic capacitor.SOLUTION: A nickel fine powder has an oxide film containing nickel oxide having particle diameter of 200 nm or less, primary particles existing with 95% or more percentage in average particle diameter±30% and thickness of a surface of 1 nm or more, and crystalline diameter is 140Å to 300Å. The nickel fine powder can be manufacture through at least a process for adding an organic solvent to a water slurry of nickel fine particles having particle diameter of 200 nm or less, manufactured by a liquid phase method for replacement, a process for adding an oxidant to the resulting nickel organic solvent slurry to oxide a surface of nickel fine particles and a process for conducting a heat treatment on the nickel organic solvent slurry after the oxidation treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
