PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid storage body capable of easily conducting silica glass coating on a surface of various articles, such as a display of mobiles, to which coating for protection is conducted by users, having proper flexibility and high in efficiency during coating and capable of storing a sufficient amount of a coating liquid.SOLUTION: There is provided a coating liquid storage body 10 having a substrate 12 mainly containing at least microfiber and a coating liquid with which the substrate is impregnated, the coating liquid containing dibutyl ether and a silicon compound. In the coating liquid storage body 10, the microfiber consists of polyester and polyamide or 100 wt.% of polyester, for example consists of 50 to 75 wt.% of polyester and 25 to 50 wt.% of polyamide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
