PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tag application knowledge learning device learning knowledge for applying a tag to a character string.SOLUTION: A tag application knowledge learning device 1 includes: polynominal distribution model learning means 21 that inputs a division unit with a character string formed by dividing a document and a tag preliminarily applied to the character string defined as a set, and learns a polynominal distribution frequency table with the division unit and frequency thereof defined as items, as a polynominal distribution model; and division unit DDP model learning means 22 that learns a division unit DDP table with the division unit permitting overlapped items, frequency thereof, and a survival probability defined as items, as a DDP model as a model of a Dependent Dirichlet Process with the polynominal distribution model of division unit defined as prior knowledge.
