PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro-flow passage structure in which particles can be separated precisely according to the size thereof, and to provide a separation method using the micro-flow passage structure.SOLUTION: A micro-flow passage structure 1 for separating particles in a fluid according to the size thereof includes: a body part 2 for circulating the fluid from one side in a predetermined direction A to the other side; an inlet part 3 of the fluid; and an outlet part 4 of the fluid. The main part 2 has: a plurality of main flow passages 5 each of which is extended along a first inclination direction B inclined toward the predetermined direction A; and a plurality of branch flow passages 6 each of which is extended along a second inclination direction C inclined toward the opposed side of the predetermined direction A to the first inclination direction B and has crossings with the main flow passages 5. The main flow passages 5 and the plurality of branch flow passages 6 are disposed on the same plane of the main part 2 and a tilt angle formed by the predetermined direction A and the first inclination direction B is larger than 0° and smaller than 45°.
