PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove noise from a measurement result, to improve precision of three-dimensional point group data for a three-dimensional model to be formed.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus acquires a measurement result of an object arranged in a three-dimensional space, as first point group data acquired from a first direction and second point group data acquired from a second direction different from the first direction, which are aggregates of point data. When point data indicating a first position of the object for first point data included in the first point group data is not included in the second point group data, the first point data is deleted from the first point group data. When point data indicating a second position of the object for second point data included in the second point group data is not included in the first point group data, the second point data is deleted from the second point group data.
