PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried type nut capable of restricting a phenomenon of co-rotation at a screw and improving its connecting force durable against a high fastening force, a process for manufacture of the buried type nut and a buried type nut installed component.SOLUTION: A buried type nut 100 comprises a cylindrical nut main body 101. The nut main body 101 is constituted by small-diameter parts 102 and a flange part 103. On the outer circumferential surfaces of the small-diameter parts 102 are formed engaging protrusions 110. The protrusions are formed at the outer circumferential surfaces of the small-diameter parts 102 in mountain-shapes intermittently protruded along a circumferential direction of the small-diameter parts 102. The engaging protrusions 110 are entirely formed by male threads. The outer edges of the engaging protrusions 110 are formed with extension segments 120. The extension segments 120 are formed to extend toward the circumferential directions of the small-diameter parts 102 on an edge lines extending between the extremity ends of the engaging protrusions 110 at the outer edge of each of the engaging protrusions 110 and the surface of each of the small-diameter parts 102.
