PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical network device capable of improving availability of communication using a PON system.;SOLUTION: An optical network device using a plurality of Optical Network Units installed in a user's dwelling house as an active system terminal and a standby system terminal in an access network where an optical signal is made to be a plurality of branches by a splitter to make a single-core optical fiber be shared by a plurality of users comprises: an authentication unit for executing an authentication sequence of a terminal of the access network; and a changeover unit that when abnormality occurs on the active system terminal side, makes an Optical Line Terminal execute the authentication sequence and establish a channel with the standby system terminal to perform changeover between the channel on the active system terminal side and the channel on the standby system terminal side.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
