PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform measurement preparatory work of a ground resistance meter in a short time, and to perform accurate measurement with the ground resistance meter.SOLUTION: The ground resistance meter 1 comprises: a communication section 12 (receiving means) for receiving the positional information of a place in which a plurality of grounding electrodes are buried; a distance calculation section 18 (distance calculating means) for calculating the distance between the plurality of grounding electrodes on the basis of the positional information received by the communication section 12; and a ground resistance calculation section 19 (ground resistance calculating means) for calculating the ground resistance on the basis of the linear distance a[m] (distance information) calculated by the distance calculation section 18 and the current value I1 and voltage value V1 between the grounding electrodes.
