Polymeric Additives Derived from Alkyl Acrylates and Methacrylates for Improving Cold Flow Properties and Thermo-Oxidative Properties of Vegetable Oils, Biofuels, Fuels and Blends The present invention relates to the synthesis as well as to the application of polymeric additives of different chain sizes, saturated and unsaturated, which have phenolic clusters in their structure, used as antifreeze and antioxidant additives in fuels, biofuels and blends biodiesel-biodiesel, biodiesel-diesel, among others, in any proportions. Unpublished products in the literature are derived from saturated and unsaturated alkyl acrylates and methacrylates, in different proportions, where to the polymers with unsaturation, phenolic groups are subsequently added and evaluated for performance as additives by determining the pour point ( pp) and the induction period (ip) using the tanaka mpc – 102l and metrohm 743 rancimat equipment, according to astm d6749 and en 14112 standards, respectively.
