naphthenic process oils are produced by mixing one or more naphthenic vacuum gas oils in one or more viscosity ranges with a high ca. ethylene cracker base material, slurry oil, heavy-duty or light-cycle oil to provide at least one blended oil, and hydrotreating at least one blended oil to provide an improved ca-containing naphthenic process oil. The order of vacuum and blended distillation steps can be reversed.
