This invention relates to singly structured hood hinge and fender mounting bracket for automobiles to reduce high HIC value having substantially reverse Z-section, extended flange of which is mounted with fender and hood hinge arm. It gives rise the following advantageous features:- -Increase in energy absorption to meet HIC value.-Improvement in pedestrian head impact performance by allowing additional deformation. -Significant saving in tooling and manufacturing cost due to integration of hood hinge reinforcement and fender mounting. -Reduced assembly steps due to elimination of welding process as needed in existing fender mounting bracket, which results in reduced assembly time. -Ease in manufacturing and assembly.-Having economic significance.
