The purpose of the present invention is to provide an individual packaging for an absorbent article said packaging having excellent airtightness and unsealability and not giving rise to deformations such as expansion during storage. An individual packaging of the present disclosure has the following configuration. An individual packaging (1) for an absorbent article includes: an absorbent article (2) folded up in the lengthwise direction (L); and a package (3) provided with a pair of seal parts (5) and a storage space (10) that stores the absorbent article (2) in an airtight state. The storage space (10) is partitioned by a packaging sheet (4) that is folded up together with the absorbent article (2) from one or more folding axes. The folded packaging sheet (4) is sealed by the seal parts (5) in the lengthwise direction (L) at both ends in the lengthwise direction (L). The seal parts (5) are partitioned into two or more sheet pieces by the one or more folding axes. Each of the two or more sheet pieces includes an airtight layer (7) and a fusion layer (6) and a fusion layer (8) that have a melting point that is lower than that of the airtight layer (7). Each of the seal parts (5) has a peeling strength not exceeding 10.0 N per 25 mm.
