The invention relates to a dairy dessert product based on whey protein concentrate and sea-buckthorn, and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the product consists of 42% whole milk, 24...28% sweet cream, 10% sugar, 10% egg yolk, 8% whey protein concentrate and 2...6% dehydrated sea-buckthorn, the percentage being expressed by mass, the product having a content of 12.26...13.46% lipids, 10.96 ...11.11% proteins, 0.65...0.74% mineral salts and 13.78...16.58% carbohydrates. The process, as claimed by the invention, consists in mixing the milk containing the dissolved sugar with an emulsion of egg yolk and whey protein concentrate and gradually adding the cream and the dehydrated sea-buckthorn fruit while stirring continuously, followed by homogenizing and cooling the product for storage purposes.
