The invention relates to a conversion kit for a combustion type urban maintenance vehicle for the optional fuel/electric hybrid operation thereof, configured for use in vehicles that carry out servicing on short routes or journeys and with short and discontinuous movements in order to optimise the energy requirements of the vehicle in operation during a workday, making use of a specific computer application, thereby reducing the emission of gases and noise pollution, according to a conversion project wherein a mechanical drive module for traction in an electric mode is developed, as well as the integration thereof in the kinematic chain in the transmission shaft space between the gearbox and the rear group.
