Provided are a passivator for zinc plating and a passivation treatment method for a zinc-plated workpiece surface. The passivator for zinc plating is used for treating a zinc-plated workpiece surface, and comprises, with a total of 100 parts by weight, the following ingredients in parts by weight:5-20 parts of chromic anhydride, 10-50 parts of phosphoric acid, 5-20 parts of silica sol, 0.1-1 part of fluorosilicic acid, 0.1-2 parts of boric acid, 0.1-2 parts of sodium fluoroborate or potassium fluoroborate, 0.1-1 part of chromium nitrate, 0.1-1 part of sodium acetate, and the balance of water. The passivation film layer formed from the above-mentioned passivator for zinc plating performs well in terms of corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, and has a good bonding force.
