Provided is an excavator 3D earthwork BIM system for providing real time geometric information of an excavator during an earthwork construction, the system: expressing, in 3D graphics, earthwork construction performed by the excavator on the basis of a 3D BIM technique so as to provide real-time geometric information to an excavator operator, thereby enabling productivity of the earthwork construction to improve; compared with a system for providing geometric information in a conventional 2D or 3D form, realistically providing real time geometric information of the excavator, thereby enabling various pieces of visual information desired by the excavator operator to be provided; and providing the earthwork BIM system as a real-time earthwork information system that can be easily used by skilled equipment operators and unskilled equipment operators, thereby enabling productivity of equipment control to improve on the basis of visual information and data information.
