The ALA determines whether the target system is experiencing or is about to experience or may experience a problem based on the received performance information, user activity details and historical trends. The ALA communicates a diagnostic event to a source control system when the ALA determines that a problem exists or is going to occur on the horizon with the target system. The ALA receives, from the source control system, development information that specifies one or more time periods associated with operations for diagnosing and resolving the problem experienced by the target system.
