The present invention is a therapeutic or prophylactic drug for ischemic disease, glaucoma, optic nerve disease, retinal degenerative disease, angiogenic retinal disease, cancer, neurodegeneration, or autoimmune disease, said drug containing, as an active ingredient, at least one selected from the group consisting of plants belonging to the genus Hydrangea, plants belonging to the genus Narcissus, plants belonging to the genus Vitis, plants belonging to the genus Brassica, and fish belonging to the genus Spratelloides, or an extract thereof.
