An automatic pressurizing type traditional Chinese medicinal pulse detection method, comprising the steps of: controlling a driving connector (11) to drive a lifting rod (3) to move downwards so as to drive an arm lever (4) to move downwards (S32); detecting a pressure value between a pulse sensor probe (8) and the wrist of a detected object by means of a pressure sensor (9) (S33); controlling the driving connector (11), so that the lifting rod (3) is stopped from moving and the pulse sensor probe (8) is stopped on the wrist when the pressure value is not zero (S35); controlling a stepping motor (5) to drive a guide screw lead (7) to move downwards, so that pressures at different grades are applied on the wrist by means of the pulse sensor probe (8) (S36); obtaining pulse detection signals under the pressures at different grades from a wrist artery by means of the pulse sensor probe (8), converting the pulse detection signals under the pressures at different grades into pulse data under the pressures at different grades, and displaying the pressures at different grades and the corresponding pulse data on a display screen (12) (S37). By automatically applying the pressures at different grades required by pulse detection on the wrist in a pressurizing mode from top to bottom, the automatic pressurizing type traditional Chinese medicinal pulse detection method can obtain accurate pulse detection signals.
