The present invention relates to a method, a system and a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium for mental health care using virtual reality. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a method for mental health care using virtual reality, comprising the steps of: obtaining information relating to user's biometric data and/or a health questionnaire result on user's mental health by means of an interactive virtual character produced in virtual reality, and diagnosing the state of the user's mental health on the basis of the obtained information; selecting a user group relating to the obtained biometric data and/or the diagnosed state of mental health and determining user-specific content, which is to be provided to the user, on the basis of at least one of the user's mental health improvement information items comprised in the user group; and providing the user-specific content to the user by means of the interactive virtual character.
