The present invention relates to a method, a system, and a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium for managing mental health by using virtual reality. According to an aspect of the present invention, the method for managing mental health by using virtual reality comprises the steps of: acquiring information about at least one of biometric information of a user and a medical examination result associated with mental health of the user through an interactive virtual person implemented in a virtual reality, and diagnosing the mental health state of the user on the basis of the obtained information; selecting a user group related to at least one among the acquired biometric information and the diagnosed mental health state, and determining personalized content of a user to be provided to the user by referring to the mental health improvement information of at least one user included in the user group; and providing personalized content to the user through the interactive virtual person.
