A light supplementing lamp for door units of video doorbells and a device; by means of designing lenses as a first lens (2), which is close to a lamp (1) and which is made of an optically denser medium, and a second lens (3), which is close to the outside of a door and which is made of an optically less dense medium, the refraction of a lamp light entering the optically less dense medium from the optically denser medium and the refraction of the lamp light entering the air from the optically less dense medium enable a light beam to be more scattered and the viewing angle expanded, thus the technical problems of light beam concentrated glare and a small viewing angle are solved. The light supplementing lamp comprises: a lamp (1), vertically symmetrical lenses being provided at an outer side of the lamp (1); the lenses comprise the first lens (2), which is close to the lamp (1) and which is made of the optically denser medium, and the second lens (3), which is close to the outside of the door and which is made of the optically less dense medium; the first lens (2) is in tight contact with the second lens (3), the contact surface being a non-vertical contact surface.
