The present disclosure relates to a method of treating a subject having cancer that includes selecting a subject having cancer associated with a deregulated NRF2/KEAP1 pathway and administering to the selected subject one or more inhibitors comprising a glutamine transporter inhibitor; a GPD2 inhibitor; an immune check-point inhibitor, an immune modulator, or combination(s) thereof.
