A method for calculating the health degree of a computer room site and a monitoring system therefor, so as to solve the problem that the operating condition of a computer room or a computer room group in a certain time period cannot be intuitively obtained in the existing power environment monitoring system. The method comprises: retrieving a real-time alarm time of each power environment device of each local station and historical alarm time data within a certain time period (S101); calculating a health degree value of each detection item of the local station according to the real-time alarm time of each power environment device and the historical alarm time data within the time period (S102); and calculating a site health degree of the local station according to the health degree value of each detection item and the proportion of the site health degree of each detection item at the local station (S103). The monitoring system comprises an alarm access module and a calculation module.
