An electric vehicle charging device provided on a utility pole according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a body which is provided on a utility pole and is for supplying power to an electric vehicle by means of a charger. The body can comprise: a mount providing a mounting space for the charger; a cover controlled such that the mounting space is isolated from the outside of the body when the cover is closed and the mounting space is exposed to the outside of the body when the cover is open; and a control unit for controlling the state of the cover in accordance with a plurality of charging operations of the body.
