The present invention relates to an electrolyte for a sodium-metal secondary battery, and to a sodium-metal secondary battery including the same. Specifically, the electrolyte is provided, as one embodiment of the present invention, which improves the ion conductivity of the electrolyte itself by comprising sodium sa a main solvent comprising a cyclic carbonate-based solvent; and an auxiliary solvent composed of a linear carbonate-based solvent, an ether-based solvent, or a combination thereof, and improves the interfacial stability with the sodium metal cathode by comprising a reducing degradable additive which is a substance having a higher reducing decomposition tendency than the main solvent and the auxiliary solvent. The sodium metal secondary battery to which the electrolyte is applied is also provided as another embodiment of the present invention.
