The present invention relates to an electrolyte for a sodium-metal secondary battery, and to a sodium-metal secondary battery including the same. Specifically, one embodiment of the present invention provides the electrolyte, which contains: a sodium sa a main solvent comprising a cyclic carbonate-based solvent; and an auxiliary solvent consisting of a linear carbonate-based solvent, an ether-based solvent, or a combination thereof to improve the ion conductivity of the electrolyte itself, and which contains a reducing degradable additive, which is a substance having higher reducing decomposition tendency than the main solvent and the auxiliary solvent, to improve the interfacial stability with a sodium metal cathode. In addition, provided is the sodium-metal secondary battery, to which the electrolyte is applied, as another embodiment of the present invention.
