System and Method for providing a Social Welfare Converting Card Point into Donations

The present invention relates to a method related to a social welfare support BM system. According to the present invention, a social welfare support system for converting card reward points to a donation includes: a card company server which calculates the card reward points corresponding to a payment request received from a terminal of a card affiliated store and converts at least some of the calculated card reward points to a donation; and a welfare agency server which accumulates the donation received from the card company server, transmits information on a benefit amount that is a part of the accumulated donation to a welfare recipient terminal, and provides the benefit amount specified in the information on the benefit amount to an eligible welfare recipient who has the welfare recipient terminal. The social welfare support system and the method thereof according to the present invention can invigorate the use of the card reward points generated by the usage results of a credit card holder. Further, the social welfare support system and method thereof can receive a part of the card reward points generated by the use of the credit card for donations and utilize the donated card rewards points as donation finances for public projects and social welfare service, thereby reducing the burden of fund-raising a large amount of money and contributing to the spread of a donation culture.
