The present invention relates to a method and a system for recommending knowledge content based on big data. According to the system having a plurality of user terminals and a server connected via a network, the server receives a document file or the like from the user terminals to store knowledge data for each user, and confirms whether knowledge data extraction history information of a user who requests knowledge content exists when knowledge content recommendation information is requested by the user terminals. The server searches the knowledge content on the basis of the stored knowledge data for each user and generates the knowledge content included in upper and lower ranks with respect to a set value as the knowledge content recommendation information when the knowledge data extraction history information exists, and generates the knowledge content recommendation information without reflecting the stored knowledge data for each user when a knowledge data extraction history does not exist.
