The present invention relates to an eco-friendly functional water-based paint composition using white and red clay. More specifically, the eco-friendly functional water-based paint composition is binary composed of a main ingredient and a curing agent. The main ingredient contains an epoxy resin, white and red clay powder, and water, whereas the curing agent contains amine, white and red clay powder, and water. According to the present invention, it is possible to promote health of users and residents since volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and heavy metal are barely detected in the paint composition while exhibiting excellent antibacterial and antifungal functions, humidity regulation functions, and toxic gas adsorption functions, thereby keeping living environment fresh.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
