The present invention relates to a method for prenatal diagnosis using digital PCR. The conventional amniocentesis to diagnose fetal genetic abnormalities is an invasive testing method, and can cause various problems including bacterial infection of the amnion due to the use of syringes, wounds caused by syringes, and amniotic fluid leakage. For this reason, in recent years, a diagnosis method of fetal genetic abnormalities by extracting DNA of a fetus from blood of a pregnant woman has been introduced. However, since the blood of the pregnant woman contains an extremely small amount of the fetal DNA compared to the DNA of the pregnant woman, genetic information analysis of the fetus shows very low accuracy. To resolve the above problems of the conventional technique, the method for prenatal diagnosis using digital PCR of the present invention enriches DNA of a fetus during prenatal diagnosis using blood of a pregnant woman to improve accuracy of genetic information analysis of the fetus. Since the method for prenatal diagnosis is safe for both a pregnant women and a fetus, and is convenient, accurate and reliable, and thus can be expected to be widely used in the field of prenatal diagnosis.
